Aeolian Adventures is an all-inclusive holiday with everything provided from the moment you arrive and we meet you at the airport. Please note however that there are no planned activities on the initial Sunday evening due to the late afternoon / evening flight arrivals. Please refer to the itinerary for more details.

On booking a holiday with Aeolian Adventures, all guests accept responsibility to comply with all the details laid out in the terms and conditions below.

PAYING A DEPOSIT TO RESERVE A PLACE
To make a reservation, a £500 deposit is required at the time of booking.  This covers the cost of securing accommodation plus administration charges.

PAYING THE REMAINING BALANCE(S) 
The total balance of the holiday cost is required no later than 80 days before the departure date. Aeolian Adventures will send a reminder notification by email two weeks prior to this 80 day deadline.

WHAT’S INCLUDED
All transfers, food and wine, all cooking lessons, wine tours and tastings, fishing trips and any other activities detailed within the itinerary.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED
Flights, personal insurance and personal expenses.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Payments can be made safely and securely at your convenience via PayPal using the ‘Buy Now’ on the Dates, Price & Bookings page.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of you wishing to cancel your booking, the refund policy is as follows and varies according to the number of days remaining before your holiday with Aeolian Adventures is due to begin.

81 DAYS or more before the start date:   full refund of monies paid, minus a £100 administrative fee.
61-80 DAYS before the start date:   full refund of monies paid, minus the £400 reservation fee.
41-60 DAYS before the start date:   50 % of monies paid will be refunded.
21-40 DAYS before the start date:   25% of the total cost will be refunded.
0-20 DAYS before the start date:   there will be no refunds

Please note, should you wish to cancel your booking and it is at least 40 days before the start date, you have the alternative option of applying your payment to another Aeolian Adventure date.

A full refund will be given by Aeolian Adventures in exceptional or mitigating circumstances, such as illness or bereavement, at the proprietor’s discretion and subject to the provision of  satisfactory proof.

In the event of rare and unforeseen circumstances in which Aeolian Adventures need to cancel the holiday, a full refund will be given. The client may accept a full refund or re-book for a later date.

In rare circumstances, due to the geographic location of the holiday there may be delays or hold ups with arrivals, departures and transfers. This may be caused by, for example:

1) the volcano Mount Etna erupting to the extent that it should cause the closure of Catania airport.

2) adverse weather / sea conditions at the Port of Milazzo bringing sea crossings to a standstill – this mostly only occurs during the Winter months and it is not envisaged to affect any Aeolian Adventure dates.

Aeolian Adventures does not accept responsibility for any flight cancellations or any disruption to island transfers caused by the above but will attempt to continue the holiday with minimal disruption where possible.

In addition, Aeolian Adventures does not accept responsibility cancellations or delay in any other circumstances.

TRAVEL INSURANCE AND PERSONAL LIABILITY

Personal travel insurance which includes adequate cover for flight delays and cancellations, medical expenses and personal property is OBLIGATORY for this holiday. Aeolian Adventures does not accept responsibility for illness, injury, damage or loss of personal property unless caused by the negligence of the company.

In the event of any of the aforementioned circumstances, the Aeolian Adventures team will endeavor to provide guests, with the necessary help advice and support, to the maximum of our capability.

Aeolian Adventures recommends that our guests have a moderate level of fitness as there is some walking / hiking involved (medium level). We leave this up to you to make the decision responsibly.

ITINERARY CHANGE

We may with unforeseen circumstances find it necessary to make changes in the itinerary, for example due to sea conditions. The Aeolian Adventures team will do their upmost to ensure that there is as little disruption as possible.
